LOVE THE WAY I LOVE YOU
Meet Citizen Queen, three supremely talented female vocalists—Kaedi Dalley, Cora Isabel, and Nina Ann Nelson—diverse in vocal style and background but united in their mission to carry the torch as the next generation of girl group excellence.
The girls recognize the trails blazed by girl group pioneers before them, as demonstrated by their 2019 “Evolution of Girl Groups,” a flawlessly-polished medley that pays tribute to beloved girl group favorites spanning all the way from The Supremes to Fifth Harmony which has racked up over 26 million views.
By 2019, Citizen Queen was touring arenas. To carve out their own sound, the girls began writing for their original music, which led to their eventual meeting with Justin Tranter, one of the generation's premiere pop hit-makers, responsible for smashes for the likes of everyone from Selena Gomez to Lady Gaga.
After having a candid conversation with Justin about the themes they were passionate about, they cooked up a fierce rallying cry that brought it all together for the first time: “Call Me Queen.” Teaming up with NOVA WAV, the female production duo who've already put a dent in the pop and R&B music industry with their contributions to Beyoncé's RENAISSANCE, was pivotal in the process. Since then, they've released “So Special,” “XO,” “Break Up,” “Waste My Time,” “Y,” and “No Ego.” Their latest single “Whatchu Want” reintroduces the group in top form ready to take their place as girl group royalty.
Their debut EP CLIQUE is out now.
